Astro Mobile was founded and launched in 2010 From 2011-2012 Astro spread its operations around Zimbabwe, with branches in Harare, Mutare, Bulawayo. In 2013, AstroMobile marked its presence in Zambia with offices in Ndola and Lusaka. In 2014, the company expanded to Malawi with offices in Blantyre. In 2016, AstroMobile spread its wings to South Africa, Johannesburg. As of 2020, AstroMobile rebranded to become AstroTech Africa with services including health and wellness, Financial services, manufacturing of devices and Software solutions.
